According to the University of Georgia’s Selig Center for Economic Growth, African American consumers living in the four-county Athens MSA, (Clarke, Oconee, Madison, and Oglethorpe) generate approximately $1 billion in Black Buying Power annually. WXAG 92.7 FM and 1470 AM provide our advertising partners with direct and affordable access to these important northeast Georgia consumers. Seventy percent of our listening audience is comprised of adult African American women, the most valuable African American consumer demographic.
